Back from the depths of Holiday slackness
'Tis* the season to be slack, apparently, and I have done little blogging, although to be fair this is largely due to being rather busy and moving around and about quite a bit. I shall endeavour to write more frequently and document the many fun festivities that shall follow in the next couple of weeks. Two Christmases and a New Years combined with travelling and holiday goodness. If the weather cooperates, there should be lots of summery fun, otherwise mostly indoor fun I suppose.
*' Tis the season to use the word 'tis a lot. 'Tis very festive. In my opinion, more people should say 'tis more often, particularly those folks who leave out the apostrophe in "it's" - you know who you are...
Must now sing the Strongbad Rhythm and Grammar classic in my head. Sing along if you know the tune, or feel that tunes aren't mandatory in songs. 'Tis the season for tuneless singing**.
Ooooooh, if it's a possessive, it's just "I-T-S"
but if it's supposed to be a contraction, then it's "I-T-apostrophe-S"... Scallywag.
** And remarkably unpleasant versions of Carols to be played at ludicrous volume in Supermarkets and shops everywhere.
