6 months old today!
It's Dominic's half a year birthday today. Unfortunately the wretched teething is making him less than cheerful. His main frm of celebrating his new age seems to be to try evading sleep. He tried (rather successfully) to stay up way past his bed time last night and didn't get to sleep until ten past eight! To make matters worse, he then refused to sleep at his usual morning nap time and stayed up for an extra hour and a half being very grumpy and kicky. You have no idea how strong a baby is until they kick you in the stomach/face/random soft and squishy location.
At least now he is reasonably content to sit up slobbering, chewing and drooling on his father's hairbrush while I browse the internet.

It's tragic that he gets so grumpy when he's overtired, and refuses to sleep, preferring instead to shout and cry. An extra hour and a half of wakey baby doesn't sound so bad, except that it's an extra hour and a half of grumpy screaming miserable baby, with stressed parents trying to get him to sleep.
Poor sore-gums chap :-)
Teething seems like no fun at all.
