Birthday vegetables!

Dominic is two years old today! Where has the time gone?

Ah well, rather than descend into a stream of clucky drivel about how my baby is all grown up, I shall get on with posting some birthday pics.

Dominic, like most sophisicated young gentlemen, likes a vegetable or two. What better way to commemorate the day of his birthday than with celebratory veges?

Just what every wee lad dreams of for his birthday, to be sure - a potato to call their own.

The birthday version of Mr Potatohead. You pull the candles in and out of your potato. Hours of fun (well, minutes anyway).

He was overcome with glee at the presentation of his majestic birthday radish (like a good little fraggle).

Alas, the noble carrot did not survive long into the photo shoot.

If only I'd had the forethought to buy a turnip for the occasion. Maybe next year...

Sugar detox :) What's up with raw carrots. Kids think they are made of pure yum.

All the veges were raw for the photos but only raw carrots are enjoyed by the Dominator. In fact he refuses to eat cooked carrots although it is some kind of abomination to boil they delicious cruchiness of out of the carrot.

He actually wasn'ty very interested in the cupcake when I offered it to him later but then there were lots of balloons and bubbles makers around so a cupcake couldn't really compete.

He's going to be really put out when he discovers that there hasn't be a permenant improvement in the standards of his daily entertainment and he's not going to be getting presents, balloons, kazoos and bubbles every day.

Soon it'll be Christmas, so December is just his awesome month of Yay. Also, Matt will be home for the hanging out :)

Also, also, Kazoo FTW!
